For RVs or Campers coming to the Ides of March they should be advised that we only have a few DRY CAMPING sites available and they need to contact us for reserving a spot. (No electric or sewer hook-ups, and only a few water connections) 

 

There are three other commercial RV parks available close by:

 

Banana Cove Marina on Highway 19 in Tavares.  Approximately 8 minutes from range. Contact: www.BananaCoveMarina.com

 

Lake Harris Resort on Highway 19 in Tavares.  Only for Class A RVs.  Approximately 8 minutes from range.  Contact: www.LakeHarrisResort.com 

 

Bees Resort on Highway 27, Clermont.  Approximately 15 minutes from range.  They usually have some sites becoming available about this time of year.  Contact: www.BeesRVResort.com

 

The three above facilities stated that March is their peak season and that they seldom have openings available for short term visits.  Advance reservations are recommended well in advance.

 

There are also two State Parks with RV/Camping parking available not too far:

 

Lake Griffin State Park in Fruitland Park.  Approximately 35 minutes from range.

Lake Louisa State Park in Clermont.  Approximately 35 minutes from range.

     March is also their peak time and spaces need to be reserved well in advance.
